Why is Jesus Called Isa in Arabic? Sam Shamoun

The Quran changes Jesus' real name from Yeshua, meaning "Yahweh is salvation," to Isa, which has no real connection to His Hebrew name. Worse, Isa sounds like Esau, the rejected brother of Jacob. Even Muslim scholar Ahmed Deedat admitted this, proving this isn't a lie. Why would the Quran do this? The real Jesus is God in the flesh, sent to save us from sin, just as His name means. The Quran hides this truth on purpose.

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." – Matthew 1:21 (His name shows His mission.)
"There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." – Acts 4:12 (Only Jesus saves.)
"God gave him the name above every name." – Philippians 2:9 (Jesus' name is the greatest.)
