Trump, Jesus and Cussing

A reporter in the Press Conference at the White House today today said they were surprised by President Trump cussing after a moment of silence for the airplane crashing the Potomac.

As a Christian with a Theology degree let me tell you what I think about Trump occasionally cussing.

Here are the two verses I reference in the Old and the New Testament where people use "cuss" words.

Matthew 23:27-28
New International Version
27 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.

( A Tomb was unclean so this was a serious insult. They were pissed after they heard this)

Zechariah 3:1
3Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”

The word for filthy in Hebrew is basically shit.

This one is the best insult I found after I stopped recording. This is derogatory! Paul basically tells these false prophets to go cut their nuts off :-D

Galatians 5:12
12 As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

I think this is enough proof that although God warns us many times that the tongue is dangerous (Jame 3:8-10) Even Jesus is a fan of solid insults to well deserved hypocrites.
