Revenge Of The Creature

Also known as the Return of the Creature and Return of the Creature from the Black Lagoon this 1955 sequel to The Creature from the Black Lagoon was released in 3D and has a very early appearance by Clint Eastwood. Having survived being riddled with bullets in the first movie The Gil-Man is captured and sent to a “Oceanarium” for study. There the creature again becomes smitten with human women and mayhem ensues as he stalks and kidnaps ichthyology student Helen - who’s dating a man’s man professor of course.

Often part of a double feature the fact this movie was made at all cemented the Gil-Man as a Universal Monster worthy of plastic Halloween masks and decorations.
