The Elusive Zelda 64

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has always been one of my favourite games, but there's this weird other direction the game almost went in... that we never got to play!

Nintendo staffers, when interviewed about it, will always say that elements of Zelda 64 made it into future games, but I don't fully believe that. And even if it were true, we never saw the exact implementation of all those ideas in the one game we could've had!

The weird beta states of Ocarina of Time have endlessly fascinated me. I think soon we're going to find out exactly what it was going to be like. Better yet... I think we're soon going to be able to PLAY it.
