Racing down the highway, the tarmac split by weeds,
your houses fall to rubble as the planet slowly bleeds.

Your offices all crumble into dust and debris;
chaos and devastation are everywhere I see.

We don’t need an earthquake, a hurricane or gale
to tear the globe to pieces when we have human hail.

There’s no-one to whom we can appeal; where can we even turn
when the population sits around to watch the planet burn?
