Judge stops Trump's Executive order!!!

A federal judge just temporarily blocked President Trump's executive order that aimed to end the birthright citizenship guaranteed by the Constitution. Huge shout-out to Judge John Coughenour, who called this order a blatant unconstitutional move. This powerful decision shows how democracy works when strong institutions hold the line, regardless of who's in power.

In many African countries, we often see leaders manipulate the Constitution to stay in power. But strong institutions are the key to true democracy, not strongmen. Can you imagine this happening in Nigeria where courts defy the president’s will? Not really. From arbitrary arrests to media assault and even denying people the right to peacefully protest, the Nigerian government has continuously disobeyed court orders and undermined the rule of law.
