1975 UFO Event in North Carolina

A North Carolina newspaper, The Robesonian, in its 3rd April 1975 edition,
carried the following story over 2 pages.

From 1:45 AM this morning until 5 minutes before official sunrise, law enforcement officers in Robeson and four other counties played tag with what has been described as an unidentified flying object.

A V-shaped object was sighted around 1:45 AM by Lumberton police officers Phil Stanton, PH Atkinson and Neil McCormick.
