The Blessedness of Man

The word “Blessed” or the variation “blessings” is seen often today on shirts and household decorations. What does the word mean for people? Sadly, the word “blessed” or the phrase “blessed be” is used by pagans and practicers of witchcraft, and it essentially means, to them, “May the gods be with you.” It may sound like a nice phrase, but it is actually blasphemous. There is only one God, not multiple gods. And to state or imply that there is more than one God goes against what the Scriptures clearly teach.
What is meant by blessed according to the Bible? Blessed is given by the LORD and means that He is giving divine favor and benefits to a person or something.
