Earworm – The La's – I Can't Sleep

The La's were an English rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1983. They're best known for their hit "There She Goes" (1988). Fronted by Lee Mavers, their self-titled album, released in 1990, is celebrated for its jangle pop sound but was criticized for production. Mavers' perfectionism led to limited output. Despite disbanding in 1992, they briefly reformed in 2005. Their music remains influential in indie circles.
