In this video I talk about tariffs being placed on silver and how this will affect silver price as well as the premiums of different silver bullion products. The 25% tariff on Canada is supposed to start tonight at midnight. It seems as though premiums will be going up on Canadian silver maple leaf coins and Canadian gold maple leaf coins. Some Canadian coins are minted in USA so this may help to lower premiums. When we look at the silver that is used in the USA over 60% of it comes from Mexico and Canada. A lot of the silver we use in American comes from Mexico so when that tariff is placed we can expect higher prices for virtually all silver products. Silver Eagles are supposed to come from US mined silver so those should not go up in price. Where do you think silver price is headed with all of this tariff news?
