Don’t Get Too Comfortable!

We are to cross into the land of untrodden ground. That means you are not to get comfortable in the desert or the wilderness but looking forward. If you’re not thinking future you’ll not understand the present. God believes in acquisition—the work of the Christian is to conquer the whole world for Christ. We must learn to possess our promised land. We walk by faith and not by sight, but it takes a lot of faith to simply walk. We are called to bankrupt the devil because everything belongs to God’s kids not to the devil! The further you travel by faith the richer you become spiritually, physically, and financially—so to grow older is to accumulate territory. Boldly walk out the call of God on your life as you grow to the fullness of Christ. We’re called to mature but in a childlike manner—not childish but childlike. We aren’t God’s adults—we’re God’s children!
