Nayib Bukele confirms that the U.S. is his main ally

"The United States is the most important relationship we have, and we want to strengthen it, said the President of El Salvador", Nayib Bukele, after his recent meeting with Marco Rubio.

Let us remember that he now has a key role in the U.S. government, a Hispanic of Cuban descent who speaks Spanish. But let us also be aware, as in the main square of San Salvador, the Chinese flag is waving. And hence its influence. We recently saw how Panama said it was willing to improve its relations with the United States and pull back from China.

We see how much influence China has in Central America, and if this is going in that direction, so to speak, less China, more United States. Now even El Salvador and the United States have signed a nuclear energy cooperation agreement for civilians.
