Sonic Advance 3 - Route 99 Boss in 0:58:47

Time attack of Route 99's Boss in Sonic Advance 3, with Tails+Cream, in 0:58:47. Ran on the NA version.

World Record at the time of this upload, previously held by werster who had a 0:58:53, who bopped my previous upload by one frame. Was aiming for a sub-58:50, and cut that by 2 frames, so this is good enough.

With this team, it's easy to get consistent first-frame hits on both Gemerl and the actual boss, so assuming you nail those, this IL ultimately comes down to optimizing the three spindashes for entering/exiting this fight, down to the frame. Judging from my input display at the top, I lost at least 4 and 3 frames on the first and last spindash, respectively, so at worst, a 0:58:35 is possible from that alone, but well, human inputs.

As with most bosses in advance 3, you want to finish the boss with eggman as close to the right side of the screen as possible so he flies off more quickly, returning control to you earlier. This primarily applies to the NA version.
