The Liberal leadership race is shaping up to be an absolute disaster, with no clear frontrunner who can turn the party’s sinking ship around. Chrystia Freeland, Mark Carney, and other contenders have entered the race, but early signs suggest a complete mess—logo infringements, protests disrupting campaign launches, and candidates with baggage from past scandals. Meanwhile, Justin Trudeau has officially announced he won’t run for re-election, signaling the end of his time in politics.

But here’s the real question: Will a new leader even make a difference? With the Liberal Party’s abysmal polling numbers, public frustration at an all-time high, and no change in policies, Canadians are making it clear they’re done with the status quo.
