Good luck? Bad luck? In that context, I had had both extremes so perhaps it was ill-advised to accept invitation on a random small plane trip, piloted by only a casual friend I knew through work at the time. Admittedly an amazing experience to be in a SMALL plane at a lower altitude than commerical. Still way up there but yikes, I recall the strong feeling of only a thin sheet of metal flooring between me and altitude ... and the overall "small vehicle" vibe like being in a car.
