(I have very high respect for Col. Douglas Macgregor, since he has a solid military background, understands the geopolitical issues, doesn't "spin" narratives for some propaganda agenda, and wants the best for our country & our citizens. USAID should have been cancelled 20 years ago! Unfortunately, this is the tip of the iceberg. Our military is still thinking in terms of WW2 & hasn't made the strategic changes necessary to protect us in today's environment. A lot of the key people surrounding Trump have the same world view as many in the previous Biden administration.

When Trump said that the Russian military was weak & had lost huge numbers of military and Ukraine hadn't, that was a huge RED FLAG indicating that Trump was being fed false information and didn't understand enough about what was going on to recognize that it was false. Of course, Douglas Macgregor has access to far more intelligence data than I do, yet he said exactly what I've been saying. Also, Macgregor pointed out that the Russian army is now the best in the world, which should be obvious to people paying attention.
