I plugged a 5090 into a handheld gaming PC! Specifically, it's a $99 Minisforum DEG1 external GPU, routing the power of a $2,000 Nvidia RTX 5090 Founders Edition graphics card over a 64Gbps Oculink cable to a pair of handhelds: the Ayaneo 3 and the GPD Win Max 2. You could get more mileage out of the GPU by sticking it in a high-end desktop, but I was surprised just how much power
