Ukrainian Aggression in the Donbas

It still amazes me how many people are completely unaware of the origins of the current conflict in Ukraine. Officially, the hostilities were underway in 2014, but the build-up to that firecracker was at least a year before. From the outset, the anti-Russian element dominated events, with deliberate killing of civilians in Donbas if they spoke Russian. Most people in Donbas spoke Russian, until of course, the new regime outlawed the language. That's when things got very serious, very fast. Russia delayed interference for almost eight years, until the decision was made to force an end to the abuse.
