this is the full compilation of all videos of me putting on the legendary colossus costume for MAGFEST 2025.

there is a big meme about colossus at magfest, where if you go to the con/festival/etc - you will hear people shouting the colossus roar at each other and its actually a lot of fun! it stems from the x-men arcade game when magfest was smaller and the sound was really loud lol. i've been going to magfest for years, its where i met my wife!

in the video you can see me getting painted, we used liquid mehron paint which is liquid alcohol based, and we used endura bodypaint for the black lines and hair color, which we used an airbrush for (we have the compressor and everything)

ive tried other body paints and even liquid latex - but this is the best to use. although i have used silver bodypaint from endura but you CANNOT use felt paintbrushes to paint that on, you HAVE to use an airbrush for the whole time. but the advantage is that you can go in the water with that one on.

i've been doing this for years but never documented it and we figured we should probably at least document parts of the process so people can see how this all works
