Does Fallout 3 still hold up after 17 years?

Recently I fell back into playing Fallout 3 on my Xbox 360! I hadn't planned on it and I don't know why I didn't play any of my new games instead, but sometimes one gets bitten by the nostalgia bug and has to go back to one of their past games.

Fallout 3 was the first really big production Fallout game and is what really put the series on the map in my opinion. Bethesda Softworks had excellent developers back in the late 2000s and they were able to create these experiences where gamers could easily sink hundreds of hours into just one game! What's your favorite game in the Fallout series?
