The Story of Mother, Danzig's Biggest Song: "The Democrats Are Fascists"

Glenn Danzig's biggest song "Mother" was actually written for Tipper Gore. According to Glenn himself the song was inspired by the PMRC and the potential Al Gore administration that would be censoring music. Mother was released as a single twice, the first time it's success was marginal due to MTV not accepting the video. The second time it was released it became a "Buzz Clip" and ended up being Danzig's best charting single.
