Is Good Friday Christian? What day was Jesus Crucified?

So Jesus was raised up from the dead THE THIRD DAY. and we will be using scripture to answer what day of the week our Lord was crucified if he arose on the first day of the week (Sunday)... and if he was risen again the third day.

- Matthew 28:1 KJV In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
- 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; (4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
