1957 King Pin Safety Strap. Covers several years & models. Not hard and gets this off your mind.

I replaced the king pins a few months ago and it just seems like it would be safer to make some kind of system to make sure the things don't fall out. Just some metal strap and a few screws. I bet it didn't cost 5 bucks and less than an hour.
