Representative Pete Stauber (R-MN) says the 232 steel tariffs President Donald Trump implemented during his first term shows how invested he is in American mining and manufacturing. “Northeast Minnesota, the 8th congressional district where I represent, we mine the iron ore that makes over 80% of the United States steel in our nation. So mining, as I’ve said, is our past, our present, and our future,” he says.
