Roger Stone is joined by Slingshot.news editor Troy Smith to expose the plot unveiled on Friday by Democrats in the New York State Legislature and the Democrat governor to delay the Special Election for the seat of Republican Elise Stefanik, who will be vacating the seat take the position of UN Ambassador to which President Trump has supported her. Under current New York law, a Special Election would be announced by Governor Kathy Hochul 90 days after the date of Stefanik's resignation.

Now, New York Democrats have sponsored legislation that would move the election to November of 2025 to coincide with local elections. Stone says, "This is an obvious effort to weaken the Republican majority, where House Republicans only have a 218–215 margin over House Democrats." Stone notes that although the Republicans won 218 seats in the Congress in the last election, that there are two seats that are currently vacated in Florida; the seat of Matt Gaetz, who resigned, and the seat of Mike Waltz, who resigned to become National Security Advisor.

Stone also says that current New York Republican State Committee bylaws mandate that the Republican candidacy for the nomination to fill the vacancy will be made by 12 Republican Party leaders, rather than being chosen by voters in a Republican primary.

Stone highlights the candidacy of Anthony Constantino, the CEO of Sticker Mule, who risked jail by putting the largest 'VOTE FOR TRUMP' sign on the top of his factory.

Constantino is being opposed by County Executive Steve McLaughlin from Rensselaer County, who had a sexual assault lawsuit against him, and by Assemblyman Chris Tague, who voted to fund a New York State office of social justice. Also opposing Constantino is 26-year-old Josh Parker, who voted in Texas in the 2024 presidential primary and general election. Stone predicts that if party leaders continue to violate state party bylaws in the selection of the Republican nominee for the Special Election, that it would result in lawsuits and some prospect that Constantino would run for the seat as an independent in the Special Election.

Stone also predicts that Republicans may actually win the House seat once held by Lyndon Baines Johnson in a Special Election caused by the criminal indictment of Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar. Cuellar and his wife have been named in a 14-count indictment for bribery and corruption, and he is widely expected to resign his seat as part of a plea bargain with the government.

Jay Furman, a former United States Navy Commander, ran a surprisingly strong race against Henry Cuellar in the 2024 election, losing by a mere 4%. This once-heavily-Democrat district is becoming more Republican as President Donald Trump has made deep inroads among Hispanic voters.

Stone, who wrote the New York Times Best Seller, "The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ," says that he believes national Republicans should target this seat in a Special Election if one is called, as well as in 2026
