Hi there Rumble(rs), after a bit of a break for Christmas & New Years, and start to 2025…we’re back with more lessons for you Beginners out there!

In today’s video, we’re continuing our Accents Series. Just like in Part 1, we’ll be covering some simple (but, highly effective) Single Stroke patterns, or as I like to call them - Single Stroke Fragments. However, in Part 2 we’ll be thinking of them as 8th Note Triplets. These exercises will help you not only develop your Singles, but (and maybe even more importantly) they’ll improve your dynamics/control/inner clock/creativity. Eventually you can take these patterns and move them around your drum kit!
