David Baron Stevens - The Evil Emu, feat. Mark Levine & Paul Van Wageningen

This piece was originally written for #kennygarrett, in gratitude for the brief attention he gave me and my music, but the latin funk groove was inspired by something #paulvw once played for me. The #Emu wouldn't exist without him. I'm so honored to have had him play this piece.

I'm so sad to know I wont have the chance to play with him and Mark again. So this re-upload is dedicated to both Paul VW who inspired me so much to write this and encouraged me to record it that day, and to Mark Levine who accepted my invitation to perform and condescended to my level in order to make that day more special than I could've ever imagined.
