The Bouncing Tale of the Pacers

Hello everyone! :D

This week, we take a look at the strange and controversial history of the bus-like Pacers, a short-term stop-gap series of regional multiple units based largely off the underpinnings of a Leyland National bus.

However, despite the criticism they received, the Pacer's far outlived their original 20 year operational lifespan, and for good or for ill, kept the British railway network ticking over until new forms of stock came in to replace them.
