What If The Sun Were Nuked

Were you aware that the Earth has around 13,000 nuclear warheads? What would happen if one day, we decided to suddenly dispose of them all into the sun? Well, not much. It would almost be like throwing a matchstick into an already lit fire. Whilst still technically possible, it would potentially cost billions. They'd take a long time to even reach and the amount of shrapnel would be no joke either.
The truth is, mankind isn't worth a lot in the end. Everything we’ve built doesn't amount to much in the grand scheme of things. So, whilst the idea of nuking the sun lights a fire in your chest, the sun would practically remain unphased even if we were successfully able to do so.
