The Front Room: A Thriller with a Dangerous Twist

In The Front Room, Brandy Norwood goes head-to-head with an insidious mother-in-law in a psychological horror that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Directed by Max and Sam Eggers, the brothers behind The Northman and The Witch, this A24 thriller explores the disturbing relationship between Belinda (Norwood) and her increasingly unsettling mother-in-law, Solange (Kathryn Hunter).

Belinda, who is newly pregnant and already overwhelmed by Solange’s constant commentary and strange behavior, starts to suspect that the older woman may be a threat to both her and her unborn child. As Solange moves in, her ominous presence grows harder to ignore. But when Belinda tries to convince her husband (Andrew Burnap) of the danger, he dismisses her concerns. Realizing that she may not have much time, Belinda takes matters into her own hands, leading to a suspense-filled battle between her and the terrifying woman in her home.
