Why Israel Matters [God in Our Midst]

➡️ The word “Jew” appears 188 times in the New Testament, and for comparison, the word “Christian” occurs only three times. That should give us a sense of the significance God attaches to the people and nation of Israel. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the blessings we have received through the Jewish people. Non-Jewish Christ-followers were “grafted in” to God’s original promise with Abraham, and Pastor Allen shares what the Bible tells us about living as a chosen people. He teaches about what it means to be “strangers in the world,” as well as the significance of repentance and striving for righteousness. Let’s consider our priorities—if it’s important to God, it should be important to us.
