In today’s video, we’re diving into a critical topic in Christian-Muslim dialogue: the claim that the Bible—the Torah and Injeel—has been corrupted. Many Muslims use this idea to dismiss the Bible, even though the Qur'an itself affirms the scriptures that existed during Muhammad's time. But what if this claim creates a bigger problem for Islam? And what if the evidence shows that the Bible has remained unchanged?

We begin by exploring key Qur'anic verses, like Surah 3:3, which affirms the Torah and the Gospel as divine revelations. This raises a critical question: If the Bible was corrupted before Muhammad’s time, why does the Qur'an confirm its truth? And if the corruption occurred after, why didn't Muhammad warn about this?

Things get even more complicated when we look at Surah As-Saff 61:14, where Allah promises that the true followers of Jesus will become dominant. Historically, we see this prophecy fulfilled with the spread of Christianity across Europe, North Africa, and the Near East. By the time of Muhammad, Christianity was the dominant faith, raising another dilemma for Muslims who claim the Bible was corrupted. If these early Christians, who became dominant, were following a corrupted Bible, what does this say about Allah’s promise?

We also examine Ethiopia—a nation with one of the oldest Christian communities in the world. Christianity became the state religion there in the 4th century, and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church has preserved the scriptures in Ge'ez, an ancient language. These scriptures align with the Bible we use today, offering strong evidence against the corruption narrative.

Manuscript evidence further supports the Bible’s preservation. The Dead Sea Scrolls, dating back to 300 BC, and over 5,800 Greek New Testament manuscripts, some from the 2nd century AD, show that the Bible has remained consistent throughout the centuries. If Allah's promise in Surah 61:14 was true, and if these Christians followed the Bible we have today, doesn't this suggest the Qur'an affirms the same scriptures Christians use today?

But if Muslims claim the Bible has been corrupted, it presents a huge theological problem. Either Allah allowed a corrupted scripture to dominate the world, or the Qur'an affirms the true Bible. Could it be that Allah’s promise failed, or does the Qur'an confirm the Bible’s divine truth?

By the end of this video, we’ll show how the Qur'an’s own teachings, coupled with historical and manuscript evidence, present a significant dilemma for Muslims who deny the authenticity of the Bible. We also delve into Ethiopia's unique Christian heritage as further evidence of the Bible’s preservation.
