Driver Caught Using Phone Busted with $73K and Huge Drug Stash

On February 7, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Atlanta police officers conducted a traffic stop on Peachtree Road, pulling over a white transport van for a cellphone violation. The driver, identified as Tory Hardesty, was found to be in possession of a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics and cash. The search of the vehicle revealed:
Five bricks of suspected cocaine, totaling 12.5 pounds
Thirty-five vacuum-sealed bundles of marijuana, totaling 35 pounds
Twenty-two bags of methamphetamine, totaling 114 pounds
$73,500 in cash
Hardesty was arrested and faces multiple charges, including trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana, obstruction, and operating a cellular device while driving.
