Pakistan takes on the Mighty Australians in their backyard. This was the first match of the Carlton and United tri-series in Australia that included India as well. It was the 1st ODI of the series at Gabba, Brisbane. Pakistan were in tough position with the loss of early wickets but Wasim Akram played a valueable innings with the bat. While Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis and Abdul Razzaq fought brilliantly with the bowl. They bowled with great attitude and it was a display of best fast bowling. This was Pakistan's tour of Australia in 1999-2000.
