Zookeepers thrilled after rare baby red panda born

This is the beautiful moment a rare baby red panda takes his first trip out of its nesting box with his mum. This adorable footage was taken last week at Banham Zoo, Norfolk when they realised they were proud owners of a baby male red panda. The cub, who is yet to be named, was born this summer to the zoo’s pair of red pandas, Jasper and Maggie. However zoo staff were unaware they had a new addition because the parents hide cubs in their nesting box.
