On ICE

Since its establishment in 2003, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has conducted millions of deportations, with annual figures fluctuating based on policy changes and enforcement priorities.

In fiscal year 2024, ICE reported over 271,000 deportations, the highest number since 2014.

During President Obama's tenure (2009–2017), approximately 3.2 million individuals were deported, averaging 400,000 annually.

Under President Trump (2017–2021), deportations totaled around 1 million, averaging 250,000 per year.
