Born in Cameroon, Africa, Ulrich grew up in a Catholic home, but his father was an unbeliever. As a child, he feared that confessing his faith might result in his father taking him to a witch doctor. Even in his youth, he experienced demonic attacks, but he discovered that thinking or speaking the name of Jesus would drive them away.

When he left Africa to pursue college in America, he thought he was stepping into a better life—but Satan’s attacks only intensified.

💥 From Faith to Struggle:
    •    Balancing three jobs and full-time college, Ulrich barely survived on his own.
    •    Bitterness and resentment took over—as his classmates enjoyed life, he felt isolated, overworked, and abandoned.
    •    He turned to alcohol, marijuana, and fornication—seeking acceptance in indulgence, while his family in Africa placed all their hope on him.
    •    He was off-track for graduation, and with his family traveling from Africa to celebrate, he had a wake-up call—he needed to get his life back together.

💥 God’s Training Ground:
    •    He took an internship, unknowingly stepping into God’s training process.
    •    Moving from Minnesota to California, he still didn’t recognize God’s hand at work.
    •    Facing the possibility of deportation, he reached his breaking point—and that’s when God showed up BIG TIME!
