The 1902 Eruption of Mount Pelee — USGS (1980s)

A short documentary produced by Michigan Tech and the U.S. Geological Survey profiling the volcanic eruption at Mount Pelee on the island of Martinique in the spring of 1902, and recreates the events leading up to the pyroclastic eruption on May 8, 1902, which killed 28,000 in the city of Saint-Pierre.
