Martin Scorsese is known as a great filmmaker, and this is one of his lesser-known films. It is also one of his few attempts at comedy. It tells the story of a regular guy who just wants to go out on a date with a woman he recently met. As the night progresses, all kinds of forces align against him to give him the worst evening of his life.
