A Rage Filled Rant About The Jar Jar Binks Legendary Event: Bombad General | Absolute TRASH Event!!

The event to unlock Jar Jar is such GARBAGE!! It starts out fine and then hits you with tier 3! After FINALLY getting through tier 3, tier 4 is ok and then tier 5 is complete shit again!

What makes this event so horrible is, well, many things.

1, it is HEAVILY RNG focused, which means that it doesn't matter how good your squad is and their relics, or how great you are with strategy etc, because what ends up happening in the end is just a roll of the dice. That's not even playing a game anymore, that's just shadow participation in a simulation!

2, tier 5 should have been two tiers, so there should have been 6 tiers total. Why the hell did they think it was a good idea to make tier 5 the way they did?? Then when the player inevitably loses over and over again, we need to keep re-doing the first part of that tier?? How ANNOYING and such a waste of time!! It also gives the RNG roll more chances to be a pain in the cock, only further extending your time with tier 5!!

3, the event didn't need to be as hard as it was/is! First, they require relic 5 characters, which relatively speaking, takes enough effort to get 4 characters to that level. Then you do all that work just for the event to be hard as hell?? Also, if you get your team to higher relics (like I did, with my entire squad at R7), it should only make things easier!! Instead, it feels like it made absolutely no difference, and again, that would tie into issue #1.

All in all, this event SUCKED. It took me probably 5-6 hours total to compete, spread over 4 days of wasting my spare time to login and attempt to get it done. Additionally, I had to watch tons of videos on youtube to try to get strategy insights and different approaches. Worst part is: the gungans are pretty mid as a squad. They really only shine in the gungan raid, but aren't being used much else where, and quite honestly, gungans without Jar Jar can get a full clear on the R7 tier no problem, so is he even really needed? I'd say no. Maybe just for Galactic Challenges, but screw that trash game mode, especially with how CG made it worse now.
