As the night progresses, Miles receives a disturbing text from his mother containing a photo of an unknown man outside their house, taken by their neighbor Paula. She advises him to lock all doors and wait for the police. This moment marks the beginning of escalating tension as Miles hears noises indicating that someone has entered the house.

The plot intensifies when Miles hides under his bed after hearing glass shatter in another room. He learns that Paula is at the door trying to reach him, but he is too frightened to leave his hiding spot. Eventually, he encounters an ominous shadow in his parents’ bedroom before managing to escape downstairs once the intruder has fled.
