Political Tribalism is NOT the SOLUTION

Today on the Political Orphans, Rob and Nico are speaking about Political Tribalism and how it is not in the best interests of the people.

But what is political tribalism?

Political tribalism is when people strongly identify with a political group (like a party, ideology, or movement) to the point where loyalty to that group becomes more important than independent thinking or considering opposing viewpoints. It often leads to an "us vs. them" mentality, where people see those who disagree as enemies rather than fellow citizens with different perspectives.

This kind of tribalism can cause deep political divisions, make compromise difficult, and encourage echo chambers where people only consume news and opinions that reinforce their existing beliefs. It’s a big reason why political debates today can feel so toxic—many people prioritize winning for their side over finding common ground or seeking the truth.

Question of the day: Is it important for the people to call out their leaders when they disagree with what they are doing, no matter if you voted for them or not?
