Wisconsin 2021 Upland Grouse Hunt Day 1

This year we share the Thrill of Victory and the Agony of Defeat on our six week grouse and woodcock hunt in beautiful Butternut Wisconsin. The season started off hot and dry and the lack of water in the woods plus the heat made it hard on the dogs to hunt any length of time. Unable to carry sufficient water to keep the dogs hydrated limited the time and distance we were in the woods. Watch and share our memories in the Northwood's on this wonderful bird hunting adventure. The woods were dry and noisy and the birds were nervous , flew wild and didn't hold well for the dogs.
