This is what concerns me about the current state of "scientific" literature.

"A man in his 40s"? Seriously?

We're taught to be precise with patient age and gender for a reason – it drastically impacts diagnosis and treatment. This lack of specificity raises huge red flags. How can we trust research when such basic information is missing? Yet, mainstream media and even health guidelines are often based on this kind of shoddy work. It's a disservice to patients and a major obstacle to advancing real medical knowledge. We need to demand better.
