‘Hurt’ Taylor Swift ‘needs space’ from Blake Lively, ‘feels like a pawn’ in Justin Baldoni lawsuit

Taylor Swift is reportedly distancing herself from Blake Lively amid the actress’s legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. A source told Page Six that Swift feels “like a pawn” in the situation and is “really hurt” by her involvement. As a result, she is “taking a break” from her friendship with Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

The drama stems from Baldoni’s countersuit, which includes alleged texts referencing a meeting at Lively’s New York penthouse. Baldoni claims that two “influential and wealthy” celebrities pressured him to accept Lively’s script changes—believed to be Reynolds and Swift. In a message to Lively, Baldoni acknowledged her contributions, stating he would have appreciated them regardless of Reynolds and Swift’s presence.

Swift reportedly resents being linked to the controversy, especially after Lively allegedly referred to her and Reynolds as her “dragons” in private messages. A previous report suggested Swift “can’t help but feel used” by the actress.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Lively and Reynolds attended Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special. Some Hollywood insiders criticized their decision, suggesting they should have skipped the event. However, sources close to the couple insist they have “no regrets” and felt no reason to avoid the spotlight.
