Canada: Group calls for private prosecution of PM Trudeau for role in SNC-Lavalin affair – February 19, 2025

Duff Conacher, coordinator of citizen advocacy group Democracy Watch, holds a news conference in Ottawa to announce that the organization will file an application in the Ontario Court of Justice for approval to pursue the private prosecution of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over allegations of obstruction of justice and breach of trust in the SNC-Lavalin scandal.
