Æon Flux is a story about a mysterious assassin who works for rebels trying to overthrow a government in a dystopian future. The story is set in 2415, after a virus nearly wipes out humanity.
Plot:
A virus nearly wipes out humanity, leaving only five million survivors in a utopian city called Bregna.
A group of rebels, led by Handler, seeks to destroy the oppressive government.
Aeon Flux is tasked with assassinating Trevor Goodchild, the ruler of Bregna.
Aeon discovers deeper secrets and conspiracies to be foiled.
Aeon and her secret rebel group must find the villains who have thwarted Trevor's efforts to repopulate the city.

Æon Flux was originally an animated series that aired on MTV from 1991–1995.
Æon Flux was adapted into a 2005 film starring Charlize Theron. The film was directed by Karyn Kusama and written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi.
