Ginger Ale and Spiced Rum

During covid I bought lots of ginger ale via Amazon Fresh before they decided to screw their customers over by raising the required amount spent to over 3x the price for free delivery. One day I randomly decided to try mixing Betty Page spiced rum with some ginger ale and it tasted just like spiced pumpkin or banana bread. Can i recreate what I remember?

Ginger Ale and Spiced Rum
1.5 oz Betty Page spiced rum
4.5 oz ginger ale
ice

Pour rum over ice and top with ginger ale, stir to chill.
