As always, when the truth is inconvenient and unworthy of praise, shift the battle to politics and make it about denying access to some "right" so that the average person believes the "other side" wants more for themselves and less for you. It works nearly every time. Thus women will die on the hill to terminate a viable pregnancy (or label it inconvenient or risky) if it interfered with other life goals. (It is a good thing your parents didn't label you inconvenient now isn't it?)
