Cats have an incredible ability to jump from heights, thanks to their flexible bodies, powerful muscles, and exceptional sense of balance. They can jump up to 5 to 6 times their body length, which is about 1.5 to 2 meters for an average cat. When landing, they use their tails to maintain balance and relax their legs to absorb the impact. Additionally, cats possess the Righting Reflex, which allows them to twist their bodies mid-air and almost always land on their feet. However, falling from extreme heights can still be dangerous and may cause injuries.
